Spy Museum Rebrand

This project was a rebrand of the International Spy Museum located in Washington, DC. Above is the logo I designed that was inspired by the use of secret messages. I used morse code as the logo to spell out spy, starting with the 3 dots going down being 'S', followed by 'P', and then 'Y'. Throughout all the collaterals and media types created for the museum have hidden messages communicated through visual dots and dashes.
Above, you can see how I pushed and stretched the morse code marks to create interesting patterns and designs on the stationery set. I, also, designed a ticket for the museum that I wanted to be used as a tool for decoding messages and images once they have enter the museum, which is done by using a red and blue filter that can be used to make different aspects of the design more prominent.
For the museum, I designed a booklet used for one of the exhibits about objects used in espionage that essentially hid vital information in plain sight. Here, the ticket can be used when reading the booklet and to see what it's masquerading as, as well as what it really is. Through not displayed, there is a sheet of vellum between each spread with morse code of the page numbers on it used to redact elements of the layout.
For posters, I created 2 sets of posters, the first row meant to be displayed outside of the museum as advertisement, and the second row meant to be displayed as interactive posters in an exhibit about people who were spies like Julia Childs and Klaus Fuchs, which shows what they look like printed without any projection.
The exhibition posters have two different colored lights projecting on them, and depending on which one, a different part of the poster becomes visible. When the blue light is projected, you can see a photo of the spy, and when the red light is projected, you can see a significant location to them.
It was important that visitors have a way to learn the morse code that is so prominent in every element, and above, you can see a video going through the website and how learning is incorporated into it.
